09.01.2022 NEW PHYSIO ALERT: Julia is a perpetual student, and enjoys anything and everything to do with anatomy and function. This combined with her love of problem-solving, exercise and helping people has led her on the path to physiotherapy. She is a strong believer in collaborating with, and empowering patients to achieve meaningful goals through utilising exercise based rehab.... Julia completed her physiotherapy degree at Curtin University, graduating with First Class Honours. Additionally, she is currently undertaking a PhD project investigating sub-concussive head impacts in female soccer players. In the clinic, Julia’s interests are predominantly sports related. She loves treating musculoskeletal conditions - particularly in the lower limb and shoulder through utilising sport specific strength training to correct movement patterns, and improve overall function and performance. In the future, she endeavours to complete further training in Strength and Conditioning. When she manages to find some free time, Julia spends it drinking good coffee while hanging out with her dog in Bunnings. She also enjoys anything outdoorsy, including: kayaking, SUP boarding, and mountain biking.
