12.01.2022 Hi guys So I've been asked a lot about my lyrics since the release of Contemplate The Cause. I don't generally write with one narrative in mind but at the core of this one song I essentially did. May patience be with you - it's a long post so here she goes... Originally this song was a dedication to those who felt displaced in society - for whatever reason but primarily in the forefront of my mind were returned service men & women who had been broken in to pieces in impossib...le situations & then expected to gather themselves back up & reintegrate into society as though it should be easy & as though the human mental constitution could overwrite anything & just - get back on with it. The dedication still stands. I digress... This song Wanderer was real luck, the lyrics wrote themselves thanks to Jasons beautiful, atmospheric riff - the texture made me think of something desolate and uninterrupted, like the desert - or Darwin to be exact, where my Dad had lived and worked for nearly 10 years. Over that time his home was a little like a lost dogs home. Everytime I'd talk to him - a new dog had just turned up. He'd clean them up, check rescue shelters & adds & reunite a lot of them with their original owners... most of the time. One day a little guy in particular showed up, decided he was in the right place with the right person - the dog chooses you as they say. He was a territory mutt, a mix of shepard & bits & pieces, he was red & so he was named "Red". Red dog - territory mutt - Wanderer. Lyrically this song is an outsider observation of a mans relationship - any mans relationship with an animal and the imprint we can leave and the impact we can have on each others souls and how inevitably hard it can be to say goodbye. The dog chooses you. Wanderer The first time that I saw you Was at the corner of my street Your coat was covered in red dust & You had blisters on your feet You didn't know where you were going & didn't know where you'd been The only thing I knew was You were talking to me & I wonder Yeah Wanderer I wonder Yeah Wanderer The second time I saw you Was at the corner of our street Your coats the colour of red dust & You had your back turned to me You didn't know where you were going & didn't know where you'd be & now the only thing I know is That we're talkin' in our sleep yeah Wanderer Yeah wander on I wonder Yeah wanderer The last time that I saw you Was at the corner of my street yeah Your coats the colour of red dust and You had your back turned on me Hey wanderer Yeah wanderer Hey wanderer Yeah wander on Loz

11.01.2022 Hello everyone!!! Having had a couple of hiccups in late 2018 it was with enormous disappointment that we were unable to play live & thus had to hit the snooze button on our public profile. However, having welcomed our new bass player Al into the fold we've since been working away (loud, quiet, loudly) behind the scenes on new material & have been getting ready for what will hopefully be a bigger, brighter 2019! Stay tuned for upcoming shows... Loz :)

05.01.2022 You don't have to be a vegan, a hippie or an extremist activist to understand that what is happening (& has been for years) within the Australian live export industry is acutely wrong. Have your say, sign petitions to end this & speak for those who can not speak. Have a heart. It's all it takes. Lets shut this shit down & stop our government perpetuating an industry built on the backbone of cruelty & inhuman behaviour.

03.01.2022 Sport of kings? What a joke.
