19.01.2022 At this stage ‘For the Love of Lashes’ is still open for business. I am closely monitoring New South Wales Health for daily updates regarding closures and this could change at any stage. Extra precautionary measures have been put in place above and beyond my usual high sanitation standards to keep my lovely clients and myself safe. Clients will also be required to sanitise their hands before and after their appointment with a hand sanitisation station set up at the front e...ntrance. I have had to update my salon policy to include the following: If you have been overseas or on a cruise within the last 14 days Or, if you have had contact with anyone tested positive for coronavirus, or if you have any of the following symptoms: sore throat, fever, cough, shortness of breath please do not attend your appointment. There will be NO cancellation fee for clients to cancel their appointment as I understand this is unsettling times for everyone. So it’s business as usual until we hear otherwise. 15.01.2022 Hi Everyone There has been a lot of mixed information going around this evening about Home Based Salons in NSW reopening. **Home based salons in NSW are NOT allowed to reopen just yet for beauty services**... It has been announced today that in home services offered by a Fully Registered & Insured MOBILE service provider can start working again in people’s homes but NOT Home-Based Salons. **Home Based Salons are only allowed to open to sell retail products and gift vouchers and the Social distancing rules are still in place** Fines still apply and insurance is not covered to those who decide to not follow these instructions and reopen. ‘For the Love of Lashes’ will not be reopening until there are very clear guidelines in place and NSW Health have updated a COVID 19 reopening procedures. This is to protect myself, my family and all of my clients. As soon as I have the go ahead, I will let everyone know that I am reopening, and priority will be given to clients whose appointments were cancelled before the closure. I can’t wait to see you all again and get back into the salon when the time is right. Hopefully sooner than later Karen xxxx

08.01.2022 Ladies its time to throw away your horrible clumpy mascara!!! **For the Love of Lashes is Reopening on the 9th June**. The first couple of weeks are completely booked out with clients I had to cancel before the closure and clients who have wanted to be on the wait list. ... So I now have openings available from the 22nd June during school hours only as my evening spots are booked out till July - these are for existing clients as I cannot take on new clients just yet. Appointments are going fast so please message me if you are wanting a spot. Deposits are required. More information regarding COVID 19 safe practices will be announced later in the week. 05.01.2022 It’s with a heavy heart that I now announce that ‘For the Love of Lashes’ is now closed for business. This is due to the new restrictions put in place by government this evening. I completely understand why these decisions have been made as it’s so important to stop the spread of Covid 19. ... I will be in touch tomorrow with all clients that have future bookings and any deposits paid will be refunded. I would like to take the time to thank all my wonderful clients who have supported my business over the years and especially those ones that have been there from the start. Karen xx

04.01.2022 CLOSED Unfortunately For the Love of Lashes will be closed for a while. I ruptured my Achilles Tendon at the gym this morning and will be in a cast for the next 4 weeks . I’m hoping in a couple of weeks I may be able to sit and work if I can manoeuvre the crutches ok. I will be in touch with everyone who has appointments booked to reschedule. 03.01.2022 Exciting News released today that Beauty Salons in NSW will be allowed to open soon. For the Love of Lashes will be re-opening from Tues 9th June (after the Long Weekend). There are a lot of extra measures that need to be put in place to keep all my lovely clients and myself safe as well as a very strict COVID 19 plan. As my children also attend a private school they will not be back at school full time until this date.... **Please note that there will also be a slight increase in some service prices to cover all the extra measures** New price list will be released soon as well as an online booking system. I will be making contact next week with those whose appointments were cancelled before the closure and also my clients that have their full yearly booked appointments. These clients will be my first priority. Please be patient with me as I navigate through this process I cant wait to see you all again soon and get back to doing what I love. Karen xx
