10.01.2022 Don't miss this month's Toogoolawah Railway Markets to be held in the grounds of the History Museum in Cressbrook Street Toogoolawah. The markets will be held f...rom 7am to 12noon on Saturday 11 November and there will be plenty to see and do. To celebrate the flowering of our lovely trees, this month's theme is Jacarandas and All That Jazz and there is a special raffle to match the theme with donations from Bargain Buys, Toogoolawah Pharmacy, the IGA, the History Group and Toogoolawah Hotel as well as our amazing Jackpot Nursery. This month the date of the markets also coincides with Remembrance Day so we will be observing one minutes silence promptly at 11am. There will also be a number of displays by the History Group created especially to mark this special occasion. The RSL will also be holding a ceremony at our beautiful Toogoolawah Cenotaph in Cressbrook Street, starting at 10.45am. It will be a good weekend to be in Toogoolawah because the Somerset Film Club will also have a special screening of the film, The Battle of the Sexes, the great tennis event of 1973 - at Toogoolawah Pictures from 6.30pm on Friday 10 November.
