02.01.2022 Fortissimo offers private summer lessons in piano and music theory, with rates among the lowest in Melbourne. It will be the first business to develop a personalised course for each student based on his or her music taste. From $30-$40 an hour, students can be taught any artist, genre or cultural style they like from Adele to movie themes to K-Pop singles, and even have that music transcribed. The student then gets to choose, as an exact percentage, how much lesson time they ...want devoted to technical skills, sight-reading exercises and advanced piano advice. Be a classical snob who jams Arctic Monkeys. Your lessons, your way. For the professional learners, standard lessons based on AMEB are available. They range from a matchless $25 at the beginner level, to $45 for level 5. Want to become better at understanding music and playing by ear? Music theory lessons are available from $30-40, range up to the university level and are also custom-tailored to your music taste. Like mentioned, Fortissimo offers a transcription service for piano, but it can also transcribe any music to be played by virtually any instrument. If you want the notes to Viva la Vida arranged for a four-part choir and beatboxer, that can be done. Another service is composition, which can be requested for soundtracks, jingles or melodies to song lyrics. Finally, pianist hiring is offered for any event in any genre, improvisation and blindfold optional. Costs for the above services vary, but are guaranteed low.
