24.01.2022 This is one of the more uncommon things youll see. That small sliver of light is a cracked lip plate solder, where due to trauma on the headjoint, it doesnt form a perfect seal anymore. A bit of flux and solder and its air tight again!

21.01.2022 Working on a good old piece of history. Maybe its because its in the bloodline but I love working on Italian saxophones.

18.01.2022 Not sure who has done this but the seat is FAR too deep, and the pad size of off by a couple millimetres. New pad will put it right again! Also, this is on a Yamaha YAS 875Ex custom. A $6k+ dollar saxophone.
