24.01.2022 Fortitude Wellbeing first opened its doors to clients at its East Melbourne location in November 2018. As a result of the kind referrals from our existing clients and our connections with other health and wellbeing professionals we have outgrown our little home. From Wednesday 1 April 2020, we will be relocating to 8A Burnley Street Richmond 3121. This brand new site is directly opposite Victoria Gardens at the intersection of Burnley and Victoria Streets. The larger space wi...ll allow us to accommodate new and existing clients with appointments across Monday to Friday. In late 2019, we began planning our move and found the perfect place. As you can imagine, this idea was before COVID-19 became the focal point of everyone’s lives! What was an incredibly exciting venture is now a little bit less exciting but like everyone, we have hope! As a provider of mental health services, we realise that what we can offer people in our community is vital. Understandably, most people will be experiencing a range of uncomfortable emotions, interspersed with glimmers of hope and a belief that we’re all in this together. 11.01.2022 Sometimes we can become so set in our ways that we get stuck and moving forward can be difficult. We retreat into comfortable patterns and withdraw from situations where we feel challenged or uneasy. For those people that require face-to-face care, we have implemented additional cleaning and hygiene practices. We are reducing the number of clients entering the premises at any given time, adhering to physical distancing between the client and the practitioner, supporting the use of face-masks, and soap and sanitiser are readily available. 08.01.2022 Some clients have indicated that their preference is still for a face-to-face consultation as they deem this essential to their wellbeing. Be assured, we are taking the Government’s advice ‘to help stop the spread’ seriously. As such, we’d like to highlight the measures our practice and its staff are exercising. We have spent a considerable amount of time cleaning every surface, wall and floor space so that everything is sparkling clean. We are also implementing additional p...ractical measures to maintain exceptional standards: - One practitioner only will be working in the practice at any given time. - Time between appointments has been extended to 30 minutes. - Clients will be asked to thoroughly wash their hands with soap and dry them with hand towel before each session. - Clients will be required to bring their own water (if required). - The door to the practice will be locked at all times and opened by the practitioner. These measures aim to reduce the likelihood that multiple clients are in the premises at the same time.
