22.01.2022 We approached several volunteer clients, willing to share what they are NOT OK with, and continuing on with. How are you? Good thanks how are you? Good. Job done? The very word itself, ok is neutral. Being able to be in a neutral state allows positivity to flow or to slip into reverse. Being able to practice neutral states, is a very powerful habit which high performers are masters of.... For ourselves, keep things simple, and be neutral in thinking. It’s hard to go from Reverse to Second Gear in an onslaught of negative thoughts. NEUTRAL must come first. It’s too far removed to just think a positive thought, considering negative thoughts are much more powerful, and require sufficient dilution. Face reality in the neutral and leave space for synapses to fire and wire for a solution, a way forward. The mind is much more powerful than we give credit to. FIRSTLY Check in with ourselves, am I ok? Do the inner work, seek clarity, do the breath work, seek a daily meditative state. Don’t share, repost just because today’s the trend. Often if we check in and ensure we’re not living a false narrative away from living, speaking our truth. Not living a life out of fear, obligation or guilt. Be vulnerable when we check in with others, our social media accounts often don’t depict the true nature of reality and roller coaster of emotions that were subject to. Make everyday am I ok? day. And have regular check in’s with those around you asking them. Share stories, be vulnerable, and the inherent solution/blueprint for navigating in your own life. 10.01.2022 There is a momentary pause, an intersection of over-thinking whether to pursue the next action. The initial motivation and clarity that was worked on so intensely is now clouded. It's almost missing - the why you started. The mind will dictate other options that do not necessarily serve the greater outcome, but will find inherent ways to avoid the "pain", the process. As soon as you give yourself the ability to overthink the other options and the... more pleasurable of those will automatically sort to the top of the mind's list. All those other actions that will be so much better than just doing that one thing you're about to embark on. A simple overthinking crusher is to spoonfeed your neurons so you're constantly thinking of the why as you near closer to executing a said-action, that will bring you closer to your goals. The powerplay action that if you repeat this daily, for a period of time, your life will transform. What will the over-thinking likely lead you to? Inaction. Or a sabotaging behavior not congruent with the original goal. Try having a regular recurring reminder in your calendar that will annoyingly pop up, constantly. Literally reminding you of the outcome. We're literally chasing a "feeling" in the future, but you can "feel" that now - in comes visualisation. 01.01.2022 Preparation. Every single day we start from scratch. All physical momentum from the day before has stopped. Our neural networks have it's own momentum, but this takes multiple days in succession to engineer that habit. You can prepare for the next day, for the next week, the next month. You can prepare with the simple things, an alarm, clothes, accessories, coffee machine pre-loaded. You can prepare mentally for the self -sabotage that will make it OK to have prolon...ged rest days, to indulge excessively, to take the foot off the accelerator because you made a great start. You can prepare for a painful colleague, family member, friend, acquaintance, neighbor. You can prepare for an exit-plan, you can prepare for what to say when you're offered something that will derail you from your goals. You can prepare for war, the war of life. Not knowing what news will be revealed to you. You can prepare affirmations that will prime your mindset to weather a storm - stay the course, this will pass, this is temporary, be consistent and be persistent.
