21.01.2022 Be concerned about Cyber risks folks. It is fast becoming an important topic of conversation among insurance professionals and we believe the potential damage to businesses of any size warrants this to become a risk passed onto insurers just like the rest of them #cyber #cyberinsurance

21.01.2022 Is it 100% true? Yesterday one of the major four banks sent a message to all mortgage brokers promoting $4,000 in cash rebates to clients who refinance their loans and take up a new property investmemt loan. Could rate cuts and incentives to borrowers be enough to turn the property market around? #buyersmarket #finance #property #cursiogroup

17.01.2022 If you were in the market to buy this year you would be wanting to get your skates on one might suggest. It would appear that certain characters in town don't want property prices to fall any further.

15.01.2022 What a statement. "If rates were cut to zero and the serviceability rate fell to 3 per cent a borrower could pay about 80 per cent more for a house." Could this be a reality soon?

15.01.2022 Incentives and payments we know about to date.

14.01.2022 "It's only right that foreign property buyers contribute more so we can keep building the vital projects we need across our state" ... you mean so we can repay the $1billion wasted on the failed East West link.

14.01.2022 Stories like this are what drive us to want to make a difference for families spending their life savings on property. It's the most expensive purchase they may ever make and too big a deal to execute without advice.

13.01.2022 2 points. 1 is the news and the way it is reported. 2 is the wave of positive or negative energy it send off. The actual reality is that demand has always been there. Buyers were able to borrow before. But with news like this plus FOMO those who were sitting on the fence may have just been pushed to act on what they were half decided to already do. This is how markets among the masses turn. It's one part reality and two parts psychology. That's our view anyway.

11.01.2022 "Australians could be left stranded without life insurance on July 1 when a little-known but significant change to superannuation is enforced. Most are unaware their superannuation has a default life insurance included in the fund. And from the first day of the new financial year, super accounts that have been inactive for 16 months will have their default life cover switched off." To check whether this affects your life insurance please call our office on (03) 94812222. Or email [email protected] #lifeinsurance #cursiogroup

04.01.2022 Now weve seen everything! Remove commissions, enforce a fee for service model passing the cost of advice onto the consumer which makes the institutions more profitable and then come out and say we need to make financial services inclusive and accessible by all segments in the community to fix the problem. Those at the lower end financially cant afford to pay fees you peanuts! Advice was already more accessible than it will ever be in future. Who employs these people? Wait we do, we the advisers now pay for ASIC to regulate us. Yet another cost that naturally ends up with the consumer. Bravo!
