23.01.2022 What talent we have in our students

22.01.2022 What a bright, colourful, fun memory! 2 years ago today some brightly dressed FOSP members brought an idea to assembly and in a large colour dust the fun was shared with excited students! Bring on 2021 with the hope we are able to run this "fun" raising event with our community again! #catcharainbow2021 #colourrun2021 #FOSPFUN

21.01.2022 Here we go! Getting to know the FOSP Team Myra Krafft - President What do you value most about FOSP?... Definitely our parents; for their time and resources in supporting our school community. Their willingness to work together to get things done amazes me and I thank them. What FOSP event do you enjoy? The junior school Easter egg hunt is pure joy; but for me the egg and bacon breakfast last year at secondary school is the event I’m most proud to be part of. Seeing the students & teachers ‘hanging out’ together while enjoying breakfast and hot drinks. It was perfect. I’m so looking forward to being able to do this again. Tell us one thing about you outside FOSP... I have three chickens. Spotty, Dotti & Queenie she’s my favourite. (I never thought I’d love a chicken!) What is your go to 'bring a plate'? Date & walnut loaf or mini pavs for a special occasion What year levels are your children in? Nicholas yr8 & Ameli yr7 What book are you reading? Constitution & Operating Rules for the Gippsland Emergency Relief Fund (GERF) not really a book but as the new Hon. Secretary it’s a ‘must read’ Final comment: I feel privileged to be part of the St Paul’s community. I have always felt welcome and appreciated by staff, parents and students alike. This year, I have missed physically being part of our school community. Frank’s tree has been a constant reminder of place, foundation and growth for me. FOSP and our activities within and for the school still have a place and our foundation is strong. Now is our time for growth and reaching out to bring our school community together in new and different ways. This is our next challenge! Feel free to reach out and join us along the way. 21.01.2022 Second get to know FOSP is - Michelle our secretary Michelle is pictured far right at our FOSP presentation at our Christmas celebration last year. What do you value most about the FOSP? ... As a mum working full time, I value that the FOSP has created the opportunity for me to still be able to be involved and make a contribution to the school community as well as being able to meet other parents which I otherwise wouldn't have had the chance to. What FOSP event do you enjoy? Last year I was able to assist at the Father's Day Stall, to see all of the thought and decision making that went into the children choosing their gifts was an absolute delight. Tell us about one thing about you outside of FOSP... I enjoy crocheting - all the new babies get a blanket. My most favourite blanket I have made is one that my Grandma, my Nana and I all did part of. What is your go to 'bring a plate'? Definitely Rum Balls (but I always get my Mum to make them for me) What year levels are your children in? William - Year 1 What book are you reading? Three Men in a Raft by Ben Kozel
