24.01.2022 There were smiles all around the Novotel Vines Country Club in the Swan Valley, WA on the 6th November for the Fosroc Cup Golf Day. The beautiful spring weather drew our biggest attendance yet of 110 eager golfers. Dennis Murray, Bill Felton and the WA Fosroc team did an amazing job coordinating the event.

22.01.2022 Choosing the right concrete repair product for the problem is essential, to help get the job done right the first time. "Contractors and engineers all want to avoid a cycle of repairing the repair," says Hamid Khan, Fosroc ANZ's concrete repair expert. Non-moving structural cracks are very common and can accelerate corrosion if not treated quickly and properly. Fosroc ANZ's Nitofill LV can be injected into concrete cracks to consolidate the structure and protect the reinforcement. Conbextra EP10 is ideal for gravity feed repairs in concrete slabs. Get in touch with Fosroc ANZ if you need help diagnosing the problem and choosing the best product.

11.01.2022 In our Ask Fosroc series, we are answering the questions we frequently receive from our construction customers. Q: What dosage of sand/grit is required to achieve non-slip ratings with Nitoflor? A: Slip resistance is a big consideration when choosing a flooring solution for construction projects. Achieving the slip resistant ratings can be complicated because each rating requires different types of grains and dosage levels.... Fosroc ANZ's new range of Nitoflor Anti-Slip Grains means Nitoflor products can now be tailored to achieve a wide range of non-slip ratings while still addressing your project requirements. Get in touch to speak to Fosroc ANZ's flooring experts today, or check out the news section on our website for more details.

11.01.2022 It's a sight nobody in construction wants to see: honeycombing is often revealed when the formwork is removed from new concrete. Without the right treatment it puts the structure at risk from moisture and corrosion. Fosroc ANZ has a number of repair solutions, depending on the extent and depth of the honeycombing. For patch repairs, Renderoc HB40 Plus and Renderoc HB70 Plus can be applied by hand. When recasting is required, Renderoc LA55 Plus is a fluid micro-concrete for large volume structural repairs. Guncrete E is recommended for large vertical and overhead repairs, with a dry-spray application. 02.01.2022 What is low cover and how do you fix it before your concrete starts breaking off? Inadequate concrete cover leaves the steel reinforcement exposed to corrosion, which then leads to spalling symptoms such as rust stains, flaking and entire chunks of concrete breaking off. To rectify low cover, Fosroc Renderoc ST 06 is suitable for precast and in-situ reinforced concrete. If corrosion and spalling has already started, repairers first need to control the corrosion with a primer ...such as Fosroc's Nitoprime Zincrich. Renderoc and Guncrete E repair mortars can then be used to increase the cover or replace the damaged concrete. For floors and pavements we recommend our Paveroc and Patchroc ranges.
