Nundle Cour...t House Museum will be open tomorrow afternoon Sunday 25th April. Nundle Woollen Mill. Open every day Join a Nundle Woollen Mill guide for a tour of the Mill and vintage machinery used in making a ball of wool. Cost $5/per person, redeemable with purchase. Time: 11am 2pm Cost: $5/per person 35 Oakenville Street, NUNDLE Wombramurra Museum and Homestead Gardens. Saturday 24th April The 1840s Cottage building houses a unique collection of photographs, documents and artefacts relating to the history of Wombramurra Station. Wander through the pretty homestead gardens and enjoy refreshments on the homestead verandah. Entry: $10, includes refreshments. Bookings essential, 0418 866 072. Saturday 24th April Visit the 1890s store and join hosts Megan and Duncan Trousdale in a discussion about the history of the building and replacement of their shop verandah in 2019 in sympathy with the heritage context. Saturday 24th April Join Geoff Cummins for a discussion on his research, Innkeepers, Publicans and Sly Grog Sellers, Tall Tales and True from the Nundle Gold Fields 1853-1900, and an update on the Hotel renovation. Time: 1.30pm 2pm Jenkins Street, Nundle Old Court House Museum. Sunday 25th April and Sunday 2nd May Visit the Old Court House Museum and admire the work of local builder George Davidson who constructed the building in 1880 experience the features of colonial architecture of the 1880s building that houses the collection. Inside the building, view the comprehensive collection of artefacts and documents relating to the history and Heritage of Nundle and District. Aboriginal and Chinese memorials. While visiting the museum, you can also view the Aboriginal and Chinese memorials which are located in the Museum grounds. 06.01.2022 Nundle Public School Parents and Citizens Association this week decided to postpone the planned 2020 Great Nundle Dog Race from Sunday October 25th to its usual... timing the first Sunday in May, which is Sunday, May 2nd in 2021. This is based on current NSW government guidelines for no outdoor public gatherings of more than 20 people. We thank you for your continued interest and support in our event and look forward to welcoming you in 2021.
