23.01.2022 After an unexpected extension of the trip to Tasmania, lm back on the mainland, am hoping to get back into replica production this weekend in time for minerama in Glen Innes next weekend. If there are any replicas you are interested in let me know so l can get a few made.

20.01.2022 I have been watching the gradual decline in species diversity since the early 1970's due to human intervention, and have also been fortunate enough to see a few of the now extinct amphibian species while they were still alive. Have to wonder at what point humans will wake up and realise that we are killing this wonderful planet, through greed, money and stupidity.

20.01.2022 With the continued covid restrictions, l have only been to one gemshow this year, l have decided to start setting up a web page and online store. The range of products will be expanded to include genuine fossils, minerals as well as replicas. WATCH this space.

18.01.2022 Interesting read.

13.01.2022 I was just looking back over previous posts and realised there are a couple of new items that I haven't posted. The Marsupial lion skull and the Tasmanian Tiger skull. Prices are $330 and $280 respectively.

12.01.2022 The museums of the world want to lock up every significant and even common fossil so no private individual can own one. Yet whenever I approach a museum to be able to get access to a couple of specimens which I can create casts from, the answer is always NO,

12.01.2022 An interesting article.

11.01.2022 The gem show season starts again,on the 8th March, with 3 days at minerama in Glen Innes. It will be interesting to see how it goes at the new venue. Hope to see all the regulars at the Glen Innes showground.

11.01.2022 Not a replica, but the real thing, a Pallimnarchus pollens humerous (an ancient Australian crocodile 80-100myold, similar in size to the modern saltwater croc) this individual was approximately 6-7m long. It has taken almost a week to partially extract it from its clay, gravel and silt stone coffin. Once its fully out I will be making replicas of it.

10.01.2022 A replica and the real deal

10.01.2022 Even plastic dinosaurs need to eat. The first in a range of scale (1:35) reproductions for a jurassic diorama I am working on, if there is enough interest, I may add these to my range for sale, although I may need to rethink how I produce them, this one took over half an hour.

09.01.2022 Fossilworks will be in Murwillumbah on the 1st weekend in October, at the Murwillumbah showgrounds.. trading Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

09.01.2022 Decided to broaden the scope of this site with posts relating to Aussie dinosaurs, mega fauna and paleontologists. hope you enjoy.

08.01.2022 Another Smilodon fatales skull replica, unfortunately the weather has held up production over the last week, so it will be on display at the Central coast Crystal show, but I will not have any for sale, for another 4 weeks when I get home long enough to produce more.

06.01.2022 Just some of the dinosaur claws available from fossilworks. Top left Allosaurus hand claw Top right Allosaurus toe claw Bottom left T rex toe claw Bottom right Deinonychus hand claw

06.01.2022 This was the display at Kybong last year, the baby T rex skulls are selling faster than I can produce them and the large Collecta T rex has become too expensive to stock due to the falling Aussie $ compared to the US$ But I will have a few new replica skulls available, as well as genuine dinosaur teeth and fossils.

06.01.2022 The covid19 shutdown. means that l have only been able to attend one gem show this year. Have been working on some new replicas, and will post photos when they are available.

04.01.2022 Just packaging up the last of a small consignment which is being sent off to the Lancefield Megafauna Festival. So if your in the Melbourne area journey out to Lancefield .

03.01.2022 Fossilworks is at minerama in Glen Innes, stall is open today I till Sunday afternoon. Cool and windy but no rain.

01.01.2022 Fossilworks will be closed for the xmas new year break. Production is planned to start again around the 9th Jan 2018 in my new workshop. Have added a bit of reading to get you through the break.
