07.01.2022 I don’t normally put up political posts but if you enjoy a whole snapper as part of your Christmas dinner or King George Whiting at Easter or just some fresh lo...cal fish the only way this current State government wants you to enjoy these is to catch them yourself. If we don’t stop him now Corner Inlet will be next. It is a resource for all Victorians to enjoy not just those who can afford to buy a boat and go fishing. There are many people who enjoy eating fresh local fish but don’t necessarily want to go out and catch it themselves or are unable. There is no scientific evidence to support his culling of commercial fishermen. We have always been able to co-exist with recreational fishermen prior to this government pitting the two against one another. See more
