23.01.2022 Santorini It was about 9:00 p.m. when we arrived #Santorini from #Athens, we carried our backpacks to our #cavelikehotel located in #Oia, it was a long walk. It has been a long journey since Paris and the backpacks felt heavier than they are. I was literally stunned by the #360degree view in the next morning when I open the door. Surrounded by the ocean, I am standing on the rooftop and the only color I saw was blue and white and I can smell heaven. "#Santoriniparadise", I... told myself. There is a sunset platform in Oia where many people gather to take pictures and enjoy the sunset. This is surely one of the most beautiful sunsets the world has ever seen, which made me recall the sunset in #Cambodia, when human architecture embedded with nature, it becomes the most memorable image. 20.01.2022 Paris Walking down the street of Paris, you will hear ten different types of languages and it is impossible to identify between locals and tourists. I was checking out the map in the Paris Metro and a local lady came asked if I needed any help. This is my first "stereotype breaker" because many says French people does not welcome tourists and are arrogant.... I literally visited #Paris three times and I did not feel anything until the last visit, I felt culture, elegance and vibrancy. I listened to people, stories and history. The Coronation of #Napoleon At the moment of the crowning when the Pope said, "Receive the imperial crown...", Napoleon turned and removed his laurel wreath and crowned himself and then crowned the kneeling #Joséphine with a small crown surmounted by a cross, which he had first placed on his own head. This unbelievable arrogant man has lead #French to many victories and he once said, "after my death, please burn my corpse and spread my ashes into #RiverSeine so I can be with my fellow French people". I can totally feel his love for his country and people. Many French people say France is France and Paris is Paris.
