19.01.2022 How lucky are we to have such talented artists in our town? Retiring directors Paul Keady (left) and Paul Edwards (right) were given original artworks painted by Clark Barrett when they left the Foundation after more than a decade. Retiring Chair Vince Gauci received a personalised painting by Amanda Johnson to recognise his 20 years volunteering with the Foundation.... Broken Hill sure does have a way of inspiring creativity and talent!

15.01.2022 UPDATE: We have now allocated all of our school vouchers for 2021. Thank you to all the schools, Service providers and people who contacted us. Be sure to follow our page to receive updates about the various programs we support in the future. We still have this stack of school vouchers to give away to eligible families. You are eligible if: ... you have a concession/pension card or are experiencing financial hardship... and also: live in the Far West have school aged children. We have $50 Kmart vouchers or $50 Spicer's Office Choice Broken Hill vouchers to help meet the cost of school supplies, after receiving funding from FRRR Give us a call on 088087 9985, or pop in to our office at 164 Argent Street. Please contact us soon as they won’t last long.

Foundation Broken Hill supported AFL Broken Hill in its submission to get funding to upgrade the facilities... and is also a proud sponsor of the new umpires room.... 06.01.2022 $50 school vouchers You may have read in the Barrier Daily Truth that we still have some $50 vouchers to help eligible families with some of the cost of school supplies. We have worked with local schools, Maari Ma Health Aboriginal Corporation, and local service providers to distribute some of the vouchers.... We’re now asking for healthcare/concession card holders with school aged children to come in to our office at 164 Argent Street to find out more about the program. Alternatively, give us a call on 08 8087 9985. Please note the number of vouchers we have left is limited, so get in contact before they’re all gone. A huge thanks to FRRR for funding this program.
