The event will be simple, keeping within social distancing guidelines and will be offered as a Virtual Experience for the rest of us who cant join them. The link below has more info... 16.01.2022 BREAKING NEWS Unfortunately due to the ongoing concerns of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the major sponsors of Dream Ride Australia, Romeo’s Foundation and Balfours, have decided to cancel the Dream Ride event on Sunday 29th March. The decision comes in light of the vulnerability of the Dream Ride participants and the health risks the virus poses.... The event will not be rescheduled for 2020.

14.01.2022 Hi All, hope everyone is keeping well and staying safe during these uncertain times? As with all charities foundation21 has taken a huge hit in the fundraising department - having cancelled or postponed all our events for the next 6 months... We did however, together with the South Australian Italian Golf Committee manage to launch and release a lottery just before the restrictions came in - whilst the actual golf day we were to benefit from was cancelled - the lottery was ab...le to proceed with an extended draw date... Hence this post - we still have tickets to sell - $5 each, only 2000 tickets - prizes shown below. If you would like to buy a book for $50 please send us a message and we'll reply with bank details for you to deposit your purchase - we'll then post you your tickets. The new draw date is 29 May, 2020. Thanks for your support and look forward to hearing from you soon.

09.01.2022 Dear Reader, As with so many charities around the world, foundation21 is certainly feeling the effects of Covid-19 and the ongoing restrictions in place to protect everyone. The unprecedented impact on our charity through cancelled and postponed events, has been devastating to say the least. ... The restrictions in place have seen the loss of our most significant fundraising events, some of which have been our lifeline. Our fundraising drives our bank balance, which determines the level which we can support kids with Down syndrome and their families. But during these uncertain times, nothing is more important than the safety and well-being of our members, volunteers, sponsors and supporters. As the COVID-19 pandemic and Australia’s response to it evolves, it’s likely there will be more challenges in the future ahead. As many of you know, we are a resilient group at foundation21 and our commitment to kids and families with Down syndrome remains at the top of our list.
