15.01.2022 RU OK?- something we should be asking those in our circle not just today but everyday. If you see a change in a loved one, friend, colleague or neighbour please ask RU Ok? Encourage them to seek help and check up on them. The pictures below offer some of the available services to people seeking help and a great start is your own GP.... Now more than ever we need to be looking out for one another.

I dealt with Emotional Regulation, Violence and aggression issues, PTSD and other complex issues along with a chronic addiction... The therapeutic setting with workshops cattering for woodwork and ...Metalwork, Gym, Artroom really help participants create structure and real Living, Live-in Community... I have since leaving Foundation 61 been able to gain various Cert 4 In AOD and MENTAL HEALTH and Diploma in MENTAL HEALTH and secured my own residential property and Fulltime work... I thank ALL Volunteers and staff that continue to support Foundation 61 and the Men seeking freedom from their Life controlling issues!! Cheers for the support!! Leeroy!! See more

14.01.2022 Every dollar counts. Today is International day of charity. The Royal Australian Mint has unveiled its new Donation Dollar, a $1 coin designed to be donated to charity if you find one in your coin purse or wallet.... Millions of these coins will join circulation during the next few years with the aim to release 25 million eventually or one for every Australian. So what can you do? Simply gift on the dollar to a not for profit, and make a difference through a small gesture. #donationdollar

13.01.2022 Many go through life without a biological father in their lives, but are blessed by others who take on the fathering role. It may be a step-father, grandfather, uncle, brother, neighbour or a coach who has cheered you on from the sidelines, encouraged you in reaching for your dreams, walked with you through the valleys and shared with you wisdom and hope for a brighter future. Today we honour all those who have taken on the role as a father in our lives (CL2020). This Father...’s Day we also honour those dads who have chosen recovery, those dads who have chosen to do the hard yards to overcome and be be best version of themselves. The recovery road is not easy but it is worth it. A special thought for those who today are missing their dads and feel the deep loss of a loved one no longer here, we are thinking of you today.
