10.01.2022 Foundation House welcomes the Victorian Government’s announcement of a package of measures in the forthcoming budget, worth $868.6 million, for mental health services and support. The measures respond to both long-standing issues in the mental health system and challenges arising from the pandemic. The allocation includes a welcome $3.9 million for mental health and wellbeing support for asylum seekers, many of whom are our clients and so we are very aware of the difficulties that they experience.
