22.01.2022 I’ve been a busy little bee this weekend with a number of wedding hire bookings and client meetings with my 2021 wedding clients. I’m getting started on the initial concepts, moodboards and colour palette selections with some of my couples, and then confirming all of the finer details and run sheet/ on the day coordination aspects with others. 03.01.2022 We arrived home last night from our holiday, it’s such a surreal feeling coming home from Byron Bay where life was somewhat normal with most of the freedoms we had here in SA a week ago. To a complete lockdown, where we can’t even go for a walk around the block. Feeling so grateful right now that we could squeeze that holiday in. We were lucky to get home, as our flight was nearly empty, just a handful of people, and flying in to Adelaide looking down at the empty roads, roa...ds that are normally grid locked at that time of day...it was so strange. Once I have caught up on emails (especially to those bookings who are affected in this coming fortnight), I think I’ll take this time to slow down, pause, maybe try cooking a new recipe, meditate, read, dance like no one is watching (because really, no one is so why not!), and if, only IF I have the energy, I’ll tidy up my studio ready for the renovation. What are you planning to do (or not do) while we pause & stay home? *disclaimer: I think it’s important not to place pressure on ourselves to be productive or do anything during this time.
