25.01.2022 ADOPT MOANA This girl is simply amazing. When Moana first came into care, The sight of a leaf blowing In the wind was enough to send her hiding in fear for days ,it was heartbreaking. But as time went on , slowly but surely, she learnt that the whole world doesn't need to be scary and not everything is going to harm her. Countless people spent hours upon days upon months chipping away at the gigantic wall that Moana had put up around herself and now, she is like a diffe...rent cat. Moana will still be shy when you first meet her, given her past , one couldn't expect anything less really, BUT ... if allowed to work at her own pace , the real Moana will slowly emerge , like a beautiful butterfly emerging from the safety of its cocoon, Moana will show you the sweet, loving , trusting and loyal side to her that only those dearest to her have been fortunate enough to see. A beautiful side that makes the wait and patience worth every second and seeing such a transformation made solely for you, will make even the hardest of hearts soft like jelly If you would like to be that person and you have the patience and love to do so, then please fill out the form You will not be sorry you did. Moana is located in Hervey bay qld *All found heart cats are inside cats or confined to an outdoor enclosure * We aim to match pets with the lifestyle and household of the adopter. To start this process please complete an application and then send us a message to be considered. An application must be submitted first, this does not commit you to anything but allows us to assess the suitability for the home and pet. 25.01.2022 PLEASE STOP ENQUIRING ABOUT/APPLYING FOR MISO. ALL THAT PREMATURE APPLIXATIONS AND ENQUIRIES ACHIEVE IS TO TAKE OUR TIME AWAY FORM THE OTHER PETS IN NEED. WE aren't going to respond to any more enquiries/applications for Miso at this stage. She is currerntly safe in foster care and being assessed. Once we have completed the assessment and all work required then we will know the best type of household that suits her and will invite applications then - (please DON'T apply unles...s your household meets those requirements. We match each pet with the best possible home for that pet and not just to whoever wants that pet most.) update : a foster carer has been found Hi, my name is Miso and I am a 9 month old female Shihtzu X French Bulldog. I live in North Bondi NSW (Sydney). I have lots and lots of energy and love to keep busy. I need a new home because my Mum and Dad’s neighbours live very close which is causing me to bark a lot. The have tried so hard to teach me how to be quiet but I am very stubborn and tend to forget what they taught me after a couple of days. I love my human teenage sisters but I haven’t met any small children so I’m not sure if I would enjoy their company. I have grown up with an older dog and cat and I love to play with them especially rumbling and tumbling with my furry brother. My ideal home would be with somebody that I can follow around all day inside and out (I would love a backyard to run around in) and with somebody who doesn’t mind sharing the bed But most importantly is smarter and more patient than I am so you can teach me how to behave. If you would like to share your bed with me and think you can outsmart me than I would love to hear from you. If you are interesting in fostering Miso, please click on the below link and complete our online Foster Application. This does not commit you to anything but helps us assess suitability. https://foundhearts.com.au/forms/foster-application-form/

22.01.2022 Adopt Moana Moana has done an amazing job in facing her fears and changing her life around. From the petrified little girl that she was when she first came into care to now become the confident beautiful cat that she has grown to be today is nothing short of amazing. ... 2 years ago Moana would not come near anyone and was petrified of humans, but now, if given the space she needs to access you from afar first, Moana is like a changed cat. Moana will still be on the shy side at first, She will watch you from afar and suss out your movements to determine if you're safe before she will come to you, but if you leave her be to decide when that will be herself, she will warm to you in no time Once she does, you will have a friend for life , she will smother you in love rubs and in head nudges and will be there waiting for you when you walk in the door at night. If you have the love in your heart and the patience in your soul to make everyday count in Moana's life then fill out the form below Moana is currently in Hervey Bay Queensland * please note , all Found Heart cats are indoor cats with access to an outdoor enclosure. 22.01.2022 This beautiful boy is a 10 year old pedigree German Shepherd whos elderly owner is entering a retirement home and is devastated he needs to leave his best mate. His biggest fear is that his boy will need to go to the pound and risk being put to sleep so we would love to ease his fears for him and find him a home he can spend the rest of his years out with love and peace. Before his owner adopted him 6 years ago , Cuda was an ex security dog who was trained extensively and ...was great around other dogs. Unfortunatly in the past 6 years since being adopted, Cuda has been an only dog , no longer socialising with other dogs so we are now unsure as to whether he gets along with them or not. Cuda is also untested with cats. Cuda is very well trained and has great manners and will be an awesome pet to the right family. Located in jimboombah Qld , this boy has had all of his vet work and is desexed. If you can help foster this senior boy please let us know asap so we can put his owners mind at ease https://foundhearts.com.au/forms/foster-application-form/

19.01.2022 Adopt Benji This beautiful boy is a cheeky affectionate , playful boy who is very much a people's dog. He loves to be anywhere his human is. Benji gets on well with other dogs, is great with kids and is untested with cats. Benji still needs some training, but is learning fast.... He will be an asset to any family who has another fur baby for him to play with and who will include him in their lives. Benji did tend to escape from his original owners house on numerous occasions which was the reason for surrender, but that hasn't been the case in foster care, we are assuming it's because he has a fur friend to play with in foster so we prefer him to be adopted with other pets. 19.01.2022 VIVA is now ready to adopt Yes, you heard right! Viva can now be yours! Viva is the cutest little mixture of all sorts that you ever did see.... Just as her breeds will keep you guessing, her personality wont as she wears her heart on her sleeve. Viva is approx 12 to 18 months old and carries a lot of both staffy and cattle dog traits. She tends to staffy grunt and cattle play nip when excited and loves nothing more than to run around with her canine friends and showing them what good "zoomies" she can do, this is usually done in the morning or evening as during the day, she loves to sleep it away . Viva would do best with a family who have another dog for her to play with and who are home to give her company more often than not. Viva is located in Burpengary Qld, so if you think Viva would be the perfect fit for your family, please fill in the application below . This does not bind you to anything but simply gives us the information we need to ensure viva would be right for you. https://foundhearts.com.au/forms/adoption-application-form

16.01.2022 August proved to be a great success for Found Heart adoptions, with 9 foster pets finding their forever homes. We had 5 cats and 4 dogs , 2 of which were foster fails, the best fail you can ever have! We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the foster carers who helped get these pets to where they are today because without you, their future would be looking very different than it is right now, that's if they were lucky enough to even still have one. So thank ...you from the bottom of our hearts. And thank you to all the new adoptees, for not only giving your new pet the forever home they deserved but for also choosing to adopt through Found Hearts. Your support means everything to us.

15.01.2022 Star of the week Turbo Look at this boy go! . ... Turbo has come a long way in such a short time. His amazing foster carer has been teaching some basic commands and he is really responding well. Located in Innes Park Qld ,Turbo would be an asset to any family. He is so eager to please and so willing to love , He is great with other dogs but like most dogs, doesnt like the thought of sharing his tucker with his canine friends so feeding separately is a must . Turbo has been NOT been tested with cats although his foster carer says he will let magpies and other birds fly right up to him while he is laying in the sun and he doesn't even lift his head up at them so she doubts cats will bother him but nevertheless, he has not been tested with them so we can't say for sure. If you would like to give this big boy a home then fill in the application below , you won't be sorry you did . We aim to match pets with the lifestyle and household of the adopter. It’s already proving to be a kitten season that keeps on getting worse and worse and to be honest it’s just the beginning, Heaps of kittens have arrived and lots are due over the next few days and I hate to say it, we are already bursting at the seams. All our pens are full, we are even doubling up now and to fit so many more bubs in will be a struggle. 08.01.2022 URGENT HELP Tonight Im staring at the live thermometer of our fundraising campaign. Weve only raised $180 still well short of our goal. Im not sure why we havent raised more. I know times are tough but we got plenty of shares and comments, just very few donations. Our team are concerned. Were really scared for all those street cats out there doing it tough with no warm and loving home to go to. We know there are hundreds out there like Desire who we managed to save but ...to be honest, without the funds we cant do much. We have the team ready to go, to work ridiculously late hours to rescue those street cats who need us but without the funds to buy the necessary equipment and be able to treat the cats and kittens when they come in (most come in terrible conditions) it really stops what we need to do. Our team have seriously been refreshing the screen all weekend. They have been messaging me, tearing our hair out, not knowing what to do, so Ive decided to reach out to you tonight, before the end of the weekend to help, so we can try to raise the remaining $1820 we desperately need. You can be assured that every dollar you donate tonight will go to rescuing the poor, scared street cats and taking them back to our rescue. With no government funding, Im reaching out to you tonight to help. Please also share this post so we can hit our goal. Just $5 from each and every one of you would get us over the line. Can I count on you to help our street cats? Please donate now: https://fundraise.giveeasy.org//help-street-cats-like-desi

07.01.2022 Melbourne Street Cat Project Introducing Sierra Found Hearts decided it was time to try and help all the street cats that had been abandoned or born on the streets of Melbourne. ... So many needed our help but sadly it was never possible to help them all , not even close to it but we did manage to help as many as we could , sadly though this probably wont make a difference to the problem as it's so huge but it will make a difference to those who we did manage to save. The cats saved have all been vet checked and those who weren't already pregnant.. desexed, and placed into loving foster homes where they can begin to feel what it's like to be loved, have a warm and safe place to sleep, be cared for and fed frequently. This is just another one of those lucky street cats that have now been given a second chance of life ,a far different life to that they were living, and a future that is brighter than ever before. Found Hearts would like to welcome Sierra Into the found hearts foster family and we will keep everyone updated on her progress. For now though , this is what her wonderful foster carer Dakota , had to say in regards to her transition from street life to family life so far Sierra is doing great, she loves to nap and have her head scratched. Weve just figured out that shes pregnant so waiting on the babies! What amazing progress has been achieved by the hands of a wonderful foster carer.

06.01.2022 introducing TITO Tito was saved from the streets of Melbourne as part of Found Hearts Melbourne street cats project. Where hundreds of heavily pregnant and unloved cats are living on the streets of Melbourne, all fighting for the same thing...Survival. Up until recently these cats lived a life filled with hunger, loneliness and fear .... Scavenging through bins just to find something to eat and constantly on the hunt for a dry place to sleep, while the females have litter after litter of kittens who will only add to the shortage of food supplies. But that's all about to change for some lucky cats ,Tito included . Here's what his lovely foster carer, Asher had to say about him Tito is Much more relaxed compared to the first night! Hes a cool dude. Loves a cuddle but definitely loves hanging out by himself. He had his 'op' Saturday and is recovering well. Tito's "op" was desexing but i was told that Tito didn't want me to tell everyone else that he was "no longer a man" so i told him i wouldn't say a word, so shhhh ok ? What a great improvement in such a space of time. Welcome to the Found Hearts family little man.

04.01.2022 Dear Loyal Followers, tonight I need your URGENT help! Our street cats need our urgent help. They need a place to turn to, for food, water, warmth and love... a safe place for them off the streets. Let me tell you little story about a street cat named Desire. Desire...Desire wasnt always a street cat...Once upon a time she was a family cat but they disappeared one day. Never to be seen again!... She waited and waited, but they never came back. She found it so very tough. It was cold, so very cold. She had to search for warm places out of the weather to hide. She searched for scraps that people left out, raided rubbish bins and went hungry a lot. A LOT! She got thin and tired. She was sad and thought that she would die.... But one day there was a friendly face! They left her beautiful yummy food! She was scared of them as others had thrown stones at her in the past and had shooed her away. But this one came back at the same time every day and she started to trust her. Then one day she got stuck in the cage!! She was trapped!!! She was terrified and lashed out with her claws and screamed her very loudest screams but alas nothing worked. However, this wasnt a cage to be afraid of. This was a cage that was going to bring Desire to a new life. A life of freedom, a life where Desire did not have to madly work out where her next meal was going to come. The place she was being transported to was Found Hearts, and into loving warm arms. This is what we do. This is why we were put on this planet. To help street cats, (along with many other animals) to give them food, water, love and a place to shelter. However, it comes at a cost. Tonight we are looking to raise $2,000, so we can help more cats like Desire. To give more cats like Desire hope. $2,000 will help fund medication, food and vet fees as well as the traps and cages we need to get them off the street and starting their lives again. Just $5 from each and every one of you would help us so much. Its just the cost of your next cup of coffee but one that will help save a life! Please donate now: https://fundraise.giveeasy.org//help-street-cats-like-desi

02.01.2022 Dazey has just been adopted Our sweet senior, the darling Dazey is now spending her first night tonight in her forever home with her new family . This big gentle giant deserves everything good that goes her way and at 10 years young, she will now be spending the rest of her years, loved and wanted, like she deserves. ... We can't thank her foster carer Tanya enough for all the love and care she has shown Dazey over the past few months and for giving her this wonderful opportunity because without her , Dazey wouldn't be where she is today. And thank you to Ray and family for opening your heart and home to this beautiful girl . we wish you a lifetime of happiness together. We will add that between the two meet and greets Dazey had today it was a very tough decision as we believe we had 2 perfect families wanting her. After much deliberation, we came to the decision we did based on a few small factors but nevertheless, they were both perfect for her but sadly we could only choose one.. You're one lucky girl Dazey , Welcome to the 2nd part of your life

02.01.2022 PLEASE HELP! PLEASE SHARE! Today is Giving Tuesday. It could not have come at a more pivotal time in our organisation’s history. Why? Because we are facing the wall. Yes, it is extremely hard to admit it, but that brick wall is looming so very close and without your help we are going to hit it next week. We have saved so many, cared for those whose family could not, found wonderful homes for the drought stricken, the abused, the used, the neglected and the rejected. We have h...elped pets home; we have provided a lifetime opportunity at the sanctuary but most of all we have provided hope. Hope is also the only thing which is keeping us going now. Hope that you will help us through this holiday period. Hope that you will allow us to give more animals and families their own version of hope. Christmas can be such a sad time for those stuck in pounds, on the street, or simply left behind. We need to be part of the gladness for them! They need to be given a chance to see another Christmas, one in a safe home where they will be loved and cherished furever. We cannot do it alone. That brick wall is coming but you can help push it back by simply donating a bit each. Maybe think of it as a little present for those in need? We ensure that every donated cent is spent on the animals themselves and nothing on wages, admin, or any other expenses so you can rest easy knowing that you have helped. You have given us hope and you have given an animal hope! So please, this Giving Tuesday please consider a donation to Found Hearts. Together we can break down that wall! Bank: Westpac Account name: Found Hearts BSB: 034122 Account number: 728660 PayPal: [email protected] PLEASE SHARE!

01.01.2022 available for foster or Adopt immediately Hi , Do you remember me? I'm Ted and i was adopted earlier this year but unfortunately I've been surrendered back into care and i have no place to go except for the kennels!... As my previous owners have worked with trainers for me, they are worried that if i go into kennels it will destroy all my hard work. But unfortunately i proved to be too much of handful in order to stay with my new family as its now known that i can be quite dominate with other dogs so will need a foster carer who has no other pets. Secondly i will also require s carer who has large fencing as I've now proven i like to take myself out on walks too , which they Say is s big no-no . They say my naughty behavior is due to not being propely socialised as a pup but with continued training they hope this can be stopped. I will need a family who are fair but firm with me as i do push boundaries if given the chance. My owner said apart from me being s naughty boy At times, I'm a really lovable boy who aims to please and loves being around my humans. If you've read my faults and would like to give me a try with you, then please fill out the form below and give me some place to go rather than the kennels. Im up to date with all my vaccinations and am desexed and located on the sunshine cost Qld . Thank you love Ted xx Please note, no interstate foster/ adoption is available for Ted unfortunately, Qld applicants only We aim to match pets with the lifestyle and household of the adopter. To start this process please complete an application and then send us a message to be considered. Am application must be submitted first.. this does NOT commit you to anything but it simply allows us to assess the suitability for the home and pet . http://foundhearts.com.au/forms/adoption-application-form/ http://foundhearts.com.au/forms/foster-application-form/
