The lovely Nardi has built these nifty shelves into the side section of our shop, cleverly separating the change room from our secret hallway. . Now - please stayed tuned to watch & see us transform aforementioned hallway into a tiny gallery space we are absolutely bursting to be able to celebrate all our improvements with a opening x sixth birthday x post-covid party. PLEASE NOTE: After a crazy few days of selling out of masks again & again, we are limited to extra-small sized masks @ $20 (children & teenagers*), and once-size-fits-all bandanas @ $18. *please remember that children under 12 are not required to wear masks, and it is NOT recommended that children or infants under two wear a mask at all

24.01.2022 We have been quietly working on something REALLY special in the background - and are excited to announce that Foundry is THRILLED to be a part of the Slipway Lakes Entrance! It is truly a who's-who of East Gippsland's greatest. We are setting up a pop-up retail shop with all your Foundry-favourites, alongside Sailors Grave Brewing, Gippsland Jersey, Miriam's Restaurant, and FLOAT. With some fab neighbours at Sodafish! The prestigious Slow Art Collective are currently setting... up an amazing installation in the old boat sheds - with the National Gallery of Victoria heading down this way to pay with us all in the next few months (yes - the NGV!). You can come & visit us at the Slipway from Sunday December 27th. The Slipway opening hours are from 11am-9pm every.single.day for five weeks - with Foundry's hours slightly shorter, closing at 5pm. We can't wait to see you! And enjoy an ice cream & a beer & some seafood & great art in the sunshine.

22.01.2022 What a week! What a YEAR! Who would have known that after toilet paper the next 2020 rush would be on reusable face masks?! So many makers have been busy this weekend making many, many more masks. One of these wonders is Michelle at @babyjulzclothing - who has had the whole family helping! We are receiving a gamut of new stock tomorrow morning (Monday), and opening up especially for mask sales & collection from 10.30am-1pm. If you ordered a mask, we, or Mine Free Glenaladale... makers, will be in touch with you regarding pick up. Thank you, as always, for your support for our amazing collective & talented makers. Almost all will be for sale, with all profits collected going straight towards support East Gippsland wildlife. We have existed for SIX YEARS, gently nurturing our space & artists & running a functional retail shop that pays makers directly for their craft. Over the years we have supported over 70 East Gippsland artists, hailing from all mediums & ranging in age from 14 to 75+. ... Foundry is co-operated by Jill Hermans, Jes John & Clare River, three local women who really, really LOVE what they do. Each has their own creative speciality - contemporary jewellery making, craft & wordsmithery, & vintage clothing. Jill, Jes & Clare volunteer their time to coordinate all the ins & outs of Foundry, with a passion for community, art, sustainability, teamwork & locality.
