23.01.2022 During HASS Week (29th March 2nd April), specially themed activities took place in HASS classes all week, the Year 8 cohort were able to visit the WA Museum on Tuesday, and a bridge-building competition was held at lunch on Wednesday. All of this has provided plenty of fun for our final week of school!

21.01.2022 Congratulations to all our year 7 to 10 students who participated in the School Sport Western Australia Inc. athletics carnival, including Fahd Al-Ani for coming in first in the year 8 boys division.
20.01.2022 Our year 5/6 boy's Pastoral Care group are taking their first steps on supporting the Scouts WA recycling centre and Perth Children’s Hospital. Their first recycling refund contributed $271 to their $400 aim. A special thanks to our Year 6 SRC Representatives Ghanati Albalawi and Rawan Alriteemi for their contributions.
19.01.2022 Our Student Representative Council has assisted the Australian Relief Organisation in helping a community in Wanarn on the Ngaanyatjarra lands. The ARO provided clothing from Uniqlo to help raise funds that will go back into the community.

16.01.2022 We are glad to announce that we have signed a memorandum of understanding with Edith Cowan University (ECU) that aims to engage with ECU for developing high-quality STEM-based (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) programs at Fountain College. We would like to thank you, Prof Arshad Omar, Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof Daryoush Habibi, Executive Dean of Engineering Faculty, and Dr Ahmed Yaseri, Research Fellow for their visit.
15.01.2022 Our primary students worked together to celebrate Naidoc Week 2020. We talked about why we have Naidoc Week and then they drew around and decorated their handprints to form the Aboriginal flag. They also made bracelets made from black, red and yellow wool. It was great to see the students from different classes all working together. Our students work are on display, along with our remembrance day work in our front office.

10.01.2022 On Friday we had our parent teacher assembly, with a play by our year 5 students. The mathletics awards and ICAS awards were given to our hard working students.
07.01.2022 Our Year 10 and 11 Visual Arts students visited Cottesloe Beach to observe the "Scultpure by the Sea" art exhibit.
04.01.2022 We would like to thank Cr Mark Bain for taking the time to listening to our parents regarding parking and traffic matters around the school. We also would like to thank parents for allocating their time to come to the meeting to raise parents perceptives.
03.01.2022 Over the last two weeks we, as the Student Representative Council (SRC), held an interclass volleyball tournament. We had two sections; male and female. This tournament greatly increased interest in volleyball and made it very popular amongst students. The final results were: in the male section the year 8 won, and in the female section surprisingly the year 6 team b won the tournament. We thank all the SRC students who helped: Ihsan Sakariya, Mustafa Al-Abboodi, Ayse Topcu, Ghanati Albalawi, Rawan Alriteemi.
02.01.2022 Congratulations to Mustafa Al-Abboodi, Shams Masoud, Saliha Yildiz and Ayse Topcu for their achievement in this year's Youdebate competition. Our team won all three of the qualifying debates and have made it to the quarter finals. We wish them the best in the finals.
