16.01.2022 Year 10 Photography Mass Isolation Workshop # 5: Portraiture Presented by Melbourne Street photographer Jesse Marlow A portrait is an image of a person that tries to capture who they are or something unique about them and was our subject for week 5. ... Students needed to convince people who they have been spending their time in isolation with to let them take their portrait (we included pets and self-portraits). Lighting was a very important aspect of this photo shoot, along with the photographers perspective - where they were positioning themselves - and the overall composition (being very mindful of the backdrops and busy backgrounds). This was a more difficult photo shoot activity; however, the following students handled the task commendably, submitting carefully considered portraits.
