21.01.2022 Virtual Reality walk through capability coming soon to Four18 Architecture.

20.01.2022 This project required Four18 Architecture to design a new pavilion for the Geelong Rugby & Gridiron teams. Due to the isolated location the brief required Four1...8 to minimise crime through design. Four18’s design response achieved this requirement in a number of ways. The building perimeter was designed to transform from a monolithic structure with no glazing panels when closed to an activated and connected social space when opened. The hydraulically operated panels also serve as weather protection to the kiosk, change rooms and social space. The facades are articulated to be non-climbable, light is provided through translucent cladding and there are no gutters or downpipes, with rainwater captured on the facade and distributed to drainage located at ground level.
