20.01.2022 Tai Chi in Gerringong @ 5.30pm on Mondays by donation Tai Chi and Qigong are ancient sets of mind-body exercises with a wealth of scientific research supporting... their benefits for physical and mental health. Often seen as preventative health exercises, research evidence also supports the benefits of Qigong and Tai Chi for a range of chronic health problems and for managing the stress, anxiety and mood swings of everyday life. Qigong usually involves movements performed in a stationery position, whereas Tai Chi (Taijiquan) is a series of stepping movements linked together and known as a Form. In this class you will learn a traditional set of standing meditation, foundation movements for Tai Chi/Qigong and several Tai Chi Forms, as you progress. Opportunities to learn Tai Chi weapons will come later. Building strength, flexibility and good health, and learning a relaxation technique, makes Tai Chi an ideal mind-body exercise for our current times. Brian Corless has been training in Tai Chi for over 30 years and has competed successfully in competitions in Australia, Singapore and China. Speaking of safe please remember that if your heading out for the day/ work/ evening to ensure your fur babies are in a safe and secure place either in your home or in a secure yard that also has somewhere they can get out of the weather and feel secure. With all the rain we re experiencing we have had several thunderstorms . Some pets are terrified of the extreme loudness of the thunder and take off scared and either becom...e lost or worse still can be hit by a car. Remember they feel the electricity currents and hear the thunder about two hours before our human ears hear it . So keep them safe at home at all times , because we love them. Bookings for the Christmas holidays are now being taken . Message or give us a call to discuss our service and your pets needs. Est 1995 Original , local and very experienced.

11.01.2022 To all our friends Please keep your four legged friends safe and secure inside your home this evening as there will be NYE fireworks going off in some locations It’s better to be safe then sorry ... Thousands of animals are lost or killed each year due to them running off terrified from the massively loud sounds of fireworks !!! Don’t let that happen to your fur babies. Wishing you all a happy and safe New Year !! Xxx
