25.01.2022 Big day on Friday replacing a crappy old group meter enclosure, previously pictured. Custom designed and built board (big thanks to DC control systems for the build). 13 units all good to go for at least 50 years - being IP56, powder coated alloy and built to last. Unfortunately though one set of sub mains has a major fault, and is in need of replacement - 100+metres, tiny 32mm conduit under existing driveway with multiple bends.. going to be fun but we will get it done! #fourthphase #electrician #groupmetering #development #residential #emergency #sparky #faults #switchboard #bodycorporate

07.01.2022 We had an emergency call out late morning today to two commercial premises in Lilydale with a common electrical pit. We were on site within 30 minutes, diagnosed a major fault on the mains, which rendered both businesses without power, liaised with the supply authority and had the repair all sorted on the underground 3 phase cabling, with power back on, before close of business. 03.01.2022 Installed the new Trader Powermesh system today for a client of ours. With this you can control any lighting, power points etc through an iOS or Android app, which when paired with a Zimi wireless interface, can be controlled from anywhere in the world. Great for external security lighting when youre on holidays or away from the office/home etc. Other great features is it is a retrofit system, so no home automation wiring required. You can create as many on/off schedules (ti...mers) as you want, can create multiple users (Mum, Dad, office manager etc etc) and can make them admin or just standard users. As an added feature, you can use a google home or google mini to also control the lights/powerpoints! How good! The entire setup for the auto material loader, dust/fume extraction system and the laser itself is run through a 400-380V step down transformer. We installed a dedicated sub board with a 380V chassis specifically for this.
