Instead of posting a pretty chocolate picture this year, I decided to post one of my gorgeous mum - Wendy - the creator of all the beautiful chocolatey creations that make Four Winds what it is. There wouldnt be any chocolate beauties in our store if it werent for her. So this world chocolate day, mum still takes the cake (with our chocolates a close second) hope you ate something yum today - lifes too short.

15.01.2022 This week we lost our beautiful old boy. For nearly 14 years it was our privilege and honour to love and care for him. Our hearts are broken. We know many of our customers and locals were his friends too. Thank you. We have decided to close the shop for the coming two weekends. Thank you for your continuing support, we hope you understand this has been a difficult time for us and we love that you keep coming back and showing our little shop and family so much love. X

08.01.2022 This is what community looks like Thank you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We have truly been overwhelmed by all the love and support you have all shown our family and the shop this past week (and always) - people stopping us in the street, dozens of messages, flowers, people dropping by with dinners and treats, coffees bought for us, beautiful cards and everything in between. We are beyond grateful to call Willunga home and this incredible community our extended family. Alfie loved this community and he would be pretty pleased with all this extra love. We are blown away thank you all for adapting to take-away through our windows and pre-ordering. Hopefully we can get back to rows of pastries and pick-and-choosing inside our little shop soon. 07.01.2022 Very pleased to report that our fourth staff member has recovered very well (thank you to the brilliant @willungaandaldingavets) and is considering coming back to work his shift Saturday, unless a nap is more important at the time. Treats will be the decider. We wanted to say an enormous thank you to everyone, customers and community, who have messaged, commented and stopped us in the town to send on their thoughts and love. We are so lucky
