President Elect Joe Biden adopted Major from a shelter two y...ears ago as company for their other much older German Shepherd Champ. Congratulations to Major and Champ. The journey from the dog house to the White House is one worth celebrating!

08.01.2022 RECESSION MOTION LOST AT LAST NIGHT COUNCILS MEETING Purchase of Bowman Road Moss Vale to go ahead. Unfortunately, FOWAS concerns relayed to Wingecarribee Shire Council Management, the Mayor and Councillors that this site was not fit for purpose for a new shelter was not acknowledged at last nights council meeting. Once again the animal shelter is at the bottom of the pack.... It was saddening to hear exactly what our some of our representatives really think of companion animals in our shire. We urge to watch the discussion of this item 18.1 which starts at 3:24:00, to make your own assumptions. We would like to thank Clr Whipper, Turland and Halstead for their support with this matter.
