21.01.2022 Flowering crabapples outside my bedroom window. Soooo darn pretty.

20.01.2022 A tour round the garden after some spring rain. This is how Fox Hill looks after some very hard years of drought and twelve months after a bushfire swept through on a night when I thought our home and garden would be lost. The back area of the garden remains very damaged. I am still working up to tackling the clean up. The garden is nothing like it once was but I am amazed to see what has survived. Working to bring it back has helped me to build myself back up after several very difficult years.

20.01.2022 Abraham Darby. My all time favourite David Austin rose. Beautiful form and colour and amazing perfume. So romantic.

12.01.2022 Teasing Georgia. A stunning David Austin climber. After an extended dry period this rose produces dozens and dozens of butter coloured blooms.

01.01.2022 Roses for Rose. I have a garden that is planted with roses people gave me when my mum passed away after a long battle with leukaemia. Every year pick a huge bunch of flowers on her anniversary and remember her beautiful gentle nature and kind heart.
