20.01.2022 Campers all set up for the weekend at Fox Hollow.

19.01.2022 The new grass in the camping area is coming on nicely. With underground watering in place, I am hoping it grows thick and lush and remains that way for summer.

14.01.2022 As you know, Fox Hollow is totally off grid. A large solar system has been put in to service the shed and the house which is yet to be built. At this stage there is no back up system in place. After 9 days of heavy cloud, with me away from the property for a few days, and a number of items on standby, we used nigh on 25% of the total battery supply with very little solar power topping it up. Yesterday, with beautiful sunshine, we were able to claw some of that back with today expected to bring the battery bank back to full power capacity of 48kw.

11.01.2022 FHFS (Fox Hollow Fire Service) just going through its pre summer commissioning. The FHFS has a long history of fire fighting. Sadly it has the unenviable reputation for never saving a burning building. You see, back when Fox Hollow was initally settled, the buildings were all made of timber milled from the surrounding bush. When a fire took hold FHFS could only mop up what didn't get consumed in the initial fire.
