13.01.2022 http:// m a s t e r i n g t h e b e n c h Adding a bench to the end of your bed is a great way to put a finish on your space. Benches act as a place to sit while getting dressed or perhaps lay out some outfits your deciding on. The key to picking the right bench is in it's length. You don't want a tiny short bench at the end of your king size bed - that will through your whole space off. . ! h a n d y h i n t for aking sized bed your bench should be at least 60 inches (1.5... m) long, and for a queen sized bed it should be 45 inches (1.15m) long. The key here isto have the bench 3 quartersthe width of the bed. Leave about 6-8 inches (15-20 cm)of breathing room on both sides. Of course you could always place two shorter benches (i.e 2 square puffs) side by side as an alternative option. Just remember the 3 quarters rule. i m a g e r y @houzz
