15.01.2022 After spending nearly 4 years at The Fox and Rabbit Coffee co mastering coffes & breakfast we have decided to progress to move back to Western Australia to be closer with our family and friends. Recent events made us realise that this is priority for both of us and we have taken up an offer to sell the cafe and hand it over to a new owner. This decision was a very bittersweet one as we have not only become a community service but a part of the community which has enabled ...us to create amazing friendships and life long lasting memories; Doggies waiting at the door for their daily pats or sneaky treats from Dave, little kids showing off their new push bikes and bringing us hand picked flowers, people moving in and out of Paddington, starting exciting new jobs or starting a family, thank you so much for including us in your daily life. We did not expect this rain of farewell cards over the last few days which really means a lot to us, it was an absolute pleasure making your mornings or weekends so very special and we will probably never forget your coffees with the xtra chocolate/xtra froth/ 3/4 strength or the marshmallows- only the pink ones please- on the side We like to give a big shout out to our amazing staff without whom we would have never created what we did e.g. keep lining up those special bacon & egg rolls even at the busiest of times and we hope you keep visiting them for your pick up coffees and a chat. 10.01.2022 So guys we'll try something slightly different tomorrow which has absolutely nothing to do with coffee or food for once, maybe call it food for your soul. You all know we've got a big yard & about a few thousand plants in there (well it feel like that!) So we decided to put them outside the cafe for a moderate price to brighten up your mood a little. We know that lots of you work from home now, got stood down or even had to let your staff go which is all simply terrible. Thes...e plants can be a gift to cheer up a friend in need/ a gift for yourself to put some life in your window or patio/ something to look after while you're bored at home/ brighten up your mood. There'll be giveaways as well. You'll find a range of succulents, ferns, heliconia white Xmas, strelizia, white ginger, Lilly pilly etc. They'll be there until sold. 08.01.2022 I've been busy yesterday baking muffins for you guys and making more vanilla scented coffee scrub from our house beans. These are nice little distractions from the current crisis and relax you all hopefully for a little while. As I mentioned a few days ago I hope I'll wake up one day and it was all a terrible #nightmare but unfortunately it's not so we all hang in there and carry on as long as we can.
