MND Motor Neurone Disease (Also known as ALS) is a progressive, degenerative, neurological condition that attacks the neurones which control our muscles to move, speak, breathe and swallow. These nerve cells degenerate and die... Average life e...xpectancy is 27 months There is no known cause There is no effective treatment There is no cure This disease is a cruel beast that leaves the brain to be functioning at normal/high level as the rest of the body starts to fail... Leaving a path of destruction for everyone. The gift of health and movement is so easily taken for granted and we are just so grateful to have an amazing group of people joining us this festive season to help the MND and Me Foundation continue their relentless work - To care and To Cure.
