24.01.2022 First and last class ... open and closed all on the same day. Will keep you posted with the plans...but for now, stay colourful, kind and creative! Xx
24.01.2022 After listening to @suzchadwick speak, and reading her biz book, I’ve tired to do this more, say yes straight away....and figure out the details later! Can you speak on my pod cast? Could you illustrate a book for me?Can you do your art classes over zoom? Could you host a virtual life drawing class? ... all things I would have over thought and most likely said no to. All of which I’ve now done. Also trying to do this more as a mum...coz in stage 4 lockdown there is already so much no in our kids lives...so yes is what I’m aiming for more! (Hilariously wrote this post...it strangely deleted the whole comment when it posted...but yep, I wrote it again - well the abridged version!) Advice to myself today ...say yes more!

With so many tiny details and elements from all around the globe, the kids and I can sit in front of it for ages ...so we wanted to share a little taste of it with you!

04.01.2022 It could be baking a cake, doing some gardening, playing with watercolours, writing, taking photos dancing...whatever it is you like to create, I highly recommend taking a few moments of time for it every day. You might surprise yourself at the difference it makes. Being creative helps you become a better problem solver in all areas of your life and work. Instead of coming from a linear, logical approach, your creative side can approach a situation from all angles. Creativity helps you see things differently and better deal with uncertainty. Studies show that creative people are better able to live with uncertainty because they can adapt their thinking to allow for the flow of the unknown. - Why It’s Important to Be Creative by Courtney Carver
