24.01.2022 WELCOME BACK We’re (almost) open! Wine tastings from this Wednesday, lunch resumes this Friday and yes, we’ll be here for lunch on Cup Day. Our maximum group size is 4 people.... We remain a walk-in venue and do not accept bookings for meals. We’ll aim to serve your meal over the course of around one hour. The kitchen will take last meal orders at 4pm. We remain open for take-home wine sales daily 11am5pm (wine tastings Wed-Thurs), lunch and take-home food every FriSat-Sun-Mon.

23.01.2022 FOXEYS REOPENING NOVEMBER 2 The track to ‘Covid normal’ is getting clearer: we reopen for sit-down lunches on Monday November 2 and on Cup Day, November 3. (Maybe a little earlier, depending on next Sunday’s announcements if so, we’ll let you know via our website and social channels.) We’re still a walk-in venue we do not take lunch bookings. Maximum table/group size 4 people.... Doors open 11am and we’ll aim to serve your lunch over a period of about 1 hour. 22.01.2022 TAKE FLIGHT It is sometimes difficult to fit in a wine tasting before lunch due to the tables being in high demand. But we do have an option for a self-guided wine flight at your table. You may love only whites, or reds, or sparkling. If you are more adventurous you can even choose the discovery flight.

21.01.2022 PINOT BLENDING MASTERCLASS Just a few places left to join our winemakers behind the scenes this weekend for a private sampling of pinot barrels from our three certified organic-biodynamic vineyards, then experiment with blending your personal bottle of pinot to take home. We’ll package it up while you and your guest enjoy lunch. 18.01.2022 TASTING IS BACK It has been a long time between wine tastings. We have created a new space for guests to taste our beautiful wines among some of our amazing French oak barrels.... Foxeys is open for tastings 7 days from 11am to 5pm, while our kitchen is still open 11am to 4pm Friday through to Monday (and a bonus Melbourne Cup Tuesday). If you are within our 25km radius, we invite you to come back to enjoy Foxeys again just before restrictions ease further and all of Melbourne is open again. We can’t wait to see you.

13.01.2022 LAST PICKS Captured by a cellar door favourite, Rick, this image shows the last of the shiraz fruit we picked from the Brown family’s vineyard near Hastings. We love this vineyard for our shiraz dry, sandy soils stress the vines ever so slightly. This helps produce low-yielding fruit but with great flavour concentration, helping make the shiraz a perennial favourite at our cellar door and a past winner of major wine trophies. We’re keen to see how this 2021 vintage fares!

11.01.2022 END OF VINTAGE This week marks the end of our 2021 vintage. Now the grapes are all picked and it’s safe to burn off, we shared celebration drinks around a bonfire in the paddock above our White Gates vineyard. 2021 was a cool and late vintage but we should see some beautiful, bright pinot noirs and lovely, crisp chardonnays something to look forward to in 2022.

A thief that’s what winemaking folk call the hollow stainless steel implement Chris and Tony are using here to draw a sample from a barrel of chardonnay.
