23.01.2022 Hi Everyone and welcome to Fox First Aid! My name is Zoe and I am excited to be starting training in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane. For years now clients have been complaining that it's a pain to go into the city to complete their First Aid Training. I agree! That's why I've decided to start training out of Taringa Scouts Hall, 31 Woodstock Ave, Taringa QLD 4068. It's a convenient location with plenty of parking and an excellent trainer (if I do say so myself ). What mak...es my training different? I believe in treating learners as the individuals they are, not just another number in the classroom. I appreciate everyone's individual experiences and knowledge and cater my training to you. I have over five years experience under my belt both in delivering first aid training and volunteering as a First Responder, providing advanced first aid until paramedics are on scene. Not a nurse? Not a paramedic? What does this mean? It means I keep training practical and realistic, I practice what I preach and I KISS (not the dummies, I mean 'Keep it Simple, Stupid'). Please visit the link below to make bookings and get in touch if you have any questions.

17.01.2022 Known for camouflaging perfectly among coral and aquatic plants, the stonefish is the most venomous of all fish. To prevent stings, wear sturdy footwear on reef flats or while wading along rocky or weedy areas. In the event of a stonefish sting, call triple zero (000) immediately.

15.01.2022 Keep cool out there!

13.01.2022 Ever wonder who the face of CPR dummies is based off?

11.01.2022 Take a look at the blue-ringed octopus. It is filled with enough venom to kill 26 adult humans within minutes. Their bites are tiny and often painless, and many... don't notice they've been bitten until respiratory depression and paralysis kicks in. People who have received a dose of tetrodotoxin can be fully aware of their surroundings, but unable to move, and with no way of signaling for help. There is no antivenom to its bite. However, if you hook yourself up to a ventilator to breathe for you for 15 hours, the effects of tetrodotoxin will wear off and you will survive with no side effects. 07.01.2022 Extremely important information!

03.01.2022 I’ve heard a lot of different methods of tick removal over the years and some of them have been concerning to say the least! Here it is, direct from the source. Rather than setting yourself on fire, give this a go!
