25.01.2022 Make sure you comment you guess before 2pm today!

24.01.2022 If you have come home and your reverse cycle a/c is struggling in Adelaides record breaking weather, then try the below. *Switch the unit off at the main isola...tor outside near the outdoor unit or at the circuit breaker and leave it off. *Grab the hose and spray the coil (the small aluminium fins) behind the unit, hose it down for 5 minutes. *If needed you can try to run a fine mist of water over the coil over a few hours to help the system stay cool. *Turn the system back on. *If its a ducted system go inside and switch off as many zones as possible to minimise the areas you are cooling. *Check and clean the filter in the ceiling on a ducted system. If its a split system then lift up the front panel and check and clean the filters. *In this extreme heat its best to run the unit on high fan and no lower than 26 deg. Any lower and the unit will run flat out or never cycle off causing it to struggle. A higher set temp will allow the system to cycle off or ramp the compressor down. Hope this helps.
