15.01.2022 Foxwell State Secondary College on the Gold Coast is one of eight new schools we delivered this year. While students have been using their new school since the ...start of the school year, COVID unfortunately delayed the official opening. Its great that the school has been able to finally celebrate its opening. Construction of the new classrooms, an administration building, information service centre, central covered lunch area and canteen, a sports performance centre, play space and car parking created 190 local jobs. And more facilities will be built at the school to accommodate years 7-12 by 2025, creating a further 142 construction jobs. School infrastructure projects are vital to Queenslands plan for economic recovery, supporting more jobs for Queenslanders and building world-class education facilities for students. Stay tuned, were delivering another five schools next year. #qldjobs #education
