22.01.2022 The Flinders Ranges has beautiful sunsets and sunrises plus dark starry nights. Come and see for yourself. Still available for Easter Hillview, which is a self contained cottage sleeping 4, 11kms north east of Hawker. A great base for touring the Flinders. Ring 1800777880.

19.01.2022 There was a good attendance at the Anzac Service at the Hawker War Memorial this morning. Many visitors attended before they went on to explore our beautiful Flinders Ranges. Thank you everyone who contributed to and attended the service.

16.01.2022 Hawker's Biggest Morning Tea held on Friday 8th was a great success despite the inclement weather. Just over $1800 was raised from the BMT, raffle, sale of second hand books and donations. Thanks to everyone who helped in any way to make the morning a success. Special thanks to the Heysen Trail Walkers for attending the morning tea. They were lucky enough to win four of the five prizes from competitions and raffle. This year we will be donating money directly to Greenhill Lodge as well as the Cancer Council SA. Local people have used this facility during their treatment so we wanted to show our thanks by donating to the Lodge.
