17.01.2022 Hi all, its been a quiet couple of months, this gave me an opportunity to catch up on some personal framing.

17.01.2022 I was lucky enough to spend the last couple of weeks in France. If your going to do Paris you have to do the Louve Museum. Although my photo of Mona isnt up to scratch the artwork there is awesome, some pictures are as large as the wall they are on. Being a picture framer i was also interested in the frames around the artwork, the close ups of the corner samples were 30cm in width. Definately a must see if your going to Paris.

06.01.2022 Giving a canvas a new life. Most canvases are generally mounted on a stretcher frame with a black border on the edges. You can give your canvas a new look by simply using an L shaped canvas frame. These are designed to go around a canvas leaving a little space between the canvas and frame. The one pictured is all black, they are also available with a gold or silver lip and other colours like plain white and wood grain.

Many of us get masks framed because they are intriguing and mysterious and that is what made us buy it in the first place Thats great if you want to look at it during daylight but what happens when you walk past it during the night time, you dont see it unless the light is turned on. These 2 have a little extra.
