25.01.2022 Ive said it before, but women? Theyre f*cking amazing. And there are so many running under the radar, just doing their thang. Exhibit A - @floozycoffee - these babes are shaking up the (male dominated) coffee industry and I for one are pretty darn excited to be able to support them. You know youre onto a good thing when post order you get a DM from them that says " Okay who are you and why arent we best friends already?". Hopefully one day well be reliving this funny moment over a cup of coffee in real life! x

25.01.2022 Early in the week I met a pretty spectacular woman. We both walked into a cafe, complete strangers. We talked about being a woman in business, and the constant juggling act that comes with that. We shared with each other the moments of sheer terror (and complete joy!) that come with having your own business. We spoke candidly about the roller coaster ride and what its like to be wearing so many hats at once. And after our meeting? We both got up and said "Should we hug?". An...d right in that moment I was reminded why I love what I do. Over that cup of coffee, we moved from being complete strangers, to our souls quietly whispering to each other - "Girl, Ive got your back. I believe in you and all you do, and I will *always* be cheering you on". 24.01.2022 Not too long ago, I found a piece of paper. At the top it said Dream Big and underneath it? A list of all the things I wanted for my life, if there were no limits. Id written this list almost 12 months ago when I was *super* sick, to remind myself that my only limits were the ones I placed on myself. Number 3 was: start a social media agency. Number 5 was: coach women in business. Number 6 was: run social media marketing workshops. Number 7 was: travel around Australia d...oing it. The time has come for us to close the door on The Social School workshops BUT this has made way for a new door to open here @gather.social. 20.01.2022 In the spirit of #selfcaresaturday, today Im pausing to ask- What are you doing in your life to inject a little self love into your life? Maybe its a sleep in, or a lazy day in your fave oversized tee, or an extra coffee in the afternoon. You cant pour from an empty cup so make sure to take some time out to fill up your own power source so you dont end up depleted or on the path to burn out. For me, recently, its been tuning in at 8.30am every morning for a quick meditation and alignment session with the legend that is @kat.john Starting the day with intent and a chance to check in with my emotions, sets me up for productive and purposeful day. 18.01.2022 It can be a little lonely sometimes, living the #freelancerlife. However I must admit - Im pretty lucky...#teamgather has grown from 2 to 6, and on top of that I have a wonderful support network around me. I love that everyday is a new chance for us to cheer each other on, and celebrate each others wins and its *solid gold*. PLUS I get a front row seat to see my clients writing their own stories of success. But none of this would be possible without the supporting shoulders, listening ears and open hearts of a few women who I have been so grateful to be able to learn from and lean on in the last few weeks. 15.01.2022 Okay, number 1 on the list. In terms of gigantic life goals, its probably reasonably insubstantial - but for little ol me - its the leap Ive been wanting to take for a while now. 1. Move to the beach. Gather.Social (aka - me - Erin!) is RELOCATING! Yep, were going tools down in a couple of days to take some time off to pack up the rest of my life and move to #GEELONG. For a brand new business this is a *pretty* dramatic step, but the opportunity came along and we just couldnt say no. While the thought of having to create a brand new life in a brand new city has me on the verge of gigantic panic attacks, Ive never been more excited and enthused about whats going to happen - next. So #geelongwomen - hit me up with the best coffee places - cannot wait to be meeting you there for catch ups really soon.

12.01.2022 During my social strategy sessions, I spend a lot of time getting my clients to think about the good stuff. You know, those warm fuzzy feelings you get when you land a client that just gets you, or you connect with a customer who really values YOU for you, and what you offer. Cos lets be real here for a second - why would you want to work with people who dont *really* appreciate what you have to offer. - Defining your target market is about more than just identifying th...em by their gender or their age, its about what they VALUE. Because when you work with people whose values align with yours? Thats when the magic really happens. - So how about you? 09.01.2022 As a child, fairy bread was basically my staple diet. Occasionally interchanged with chicken nuggets - cos ya know - "Chicken Nuggets is like my family". So when I saw this photo of @museumoficecream sprinkle pool, I have to admit I got a little nostalgic thinking back to those thick slices of white bread lathered in 100s + 1000s that would inevitably end up all over the floor (Sorry mum). - But it also got me thinking about my childhood. As a child, I was inquisitive, and ...thirsty for knowledge (having parents for teachers will do that to you). I didnt just want to know HOW, I needed to know WHY. And now? This desire to understand the why has been carried through all my coaching. Because when my coaching clients understand WHY theyre doing social media, they flourish. Pretty much sums me up...Thankfully the wonderful women had already endured 4 hours of my jovial personality so they really werent too shocked :P Thanks to our babe @lilyandhenryphoto for capturing this embarrassing moment to forever be relived on social media.

03.01.2022 So about May? It was *hectic* - amazing new clients, and gorgeous new staff. It was a stretch, but a growth stage we knew the business would need to go through soon and we had already begun planning and putting things in place to support us in this next stage. (Oh my little biz is growing up!). Today on stories, I shared about setting goals for the business... because if Im honest, I havent really given it much thought before. Also because *goal planning = believing in your...self enough to grow and succeed* and Id personally had some knocks to the confidence of late. And coming off the back of a big May, it wouldve been so easy to use this as an excuse and to stall. But I did it. I set goals, and I made a committment to hold myself accountable. Next month, Ill set even bigger goals - and eventually, Ill be kicking back sipping on a coconut thinking *remember that time you decided to push through and lean into the challenge rather than consider giving up - you did good girl*.
