25.01.2022 Extra Saturday Opening Hours for Easter Frames Framing will open 10 am to 4 pm this Easter Saturday (closed Easter Friday and Monday). Now’s the time dig out the things you’ve put off framing or mounting. The family photos, the beautiful pets living or long gone, the wedding day, the kids’ early years, the Cold Chisel gig at the Amphitheatre 5 October 1980 (yep that dates you ). In this time of isolation you can at least surround yourself with the things that mean the most ...to you. Behind the counter now features in the centre Ivor Cole’s Provenance from the Famous Five exhibition at Gallery 5 on Gardens Hill Crescent last year. The back wall shows my birthday gift Zebras. If you’d like some framing done feel free to email [email protected] with dimensions and pics of your art or favourite photos for a quote. ... Technology is not my thing but happy to try frame selection by FaceTime for those with the skills who want to limit their outings. 18.01.2022 This was taken at Ta Prohm, an ancient temple near Angkor Wat that is slowly being reclaimed by the jungle. It was taken in late August 2019 on my Nikon 7500 DSLR. I played with the colour saturation using Lightroom to make the greens stand out. I have a number of photos from this region as well as others I took in Machu Picchu and Easter Island. 13.01.2022 Yogis Nepalese restaurant in Stuart Park has a rotating display of various Nepalese artworks. The chef, Charchi, an artist himself is selling the paintings at good prices. Coming off the street and walking passed those Himalayan images is so cooling.

07.01.2022 This magnificent shell boat was made in the isolated Indonesian island of Banda Neira, 500 nautical miles north of Darwin. It was severely damaged when it fell off our piano during a storm. Pete has lovingly restored and strengthened it, building a weighted base to stabilise this memento of our shared sailing history. We are extremely happy. Bo and Lindsay Wharton . Ps Banda Neira was the scene of the worlds largest land deal between the Dutch and the English. It was swapped for New York .
