22.01.2022 Its been so *full-on* with back to school mayhem, and finally finishing off all the orders placed during our bushfire fundraiser weekend Oh my goodness! I dont even know what day it is!! Havent had my eyebrows waxed, or bothered to even get my hair done since before Christmas (luckily you cant see my roots in this photo ) ... This is me An exhausted mother and wifey who has been fuelled by lots of coffee over the past month working ridiculously long hours to try and get all your orders out because I know youre back at school teaching little kiddies. . Despite this, we are still experiencing high volume of orders and Im doing the best I can, but it still means that we are outside our usual timeframes as all your personalised stamps and stickers are custom made to order in our Sydney studio. As busy as this bosslady has been Im still a mother first.... Jessica has just finished her first full week of kindy and absolutely loves it! Ryan gets to be the protective big brother and keep a look out for his younger sister at school. Jayden started high school and told me that he is no longer a kid but a young man . It has been a smooth transition from primary to high school and absolutely loves it too. He has really stepped up and proven to be a responsible learner #proudmothermoment Happy FRI-YAY peeps!!! Ive been working right up to almost midnight (and on the odd occasion past midnight) every night for the past 5 weeks to get through the volume of orders we have received during this back to school period. But, Friday is movie night at our place and Im not allowed to miss it tonight. Jessica has given me strict instructions that we will be watching a movie tonight with popcorn Time to fill my cup and be present with the kids. 21.01.2022 Yesterday I uploaded a video of how our personalised digital stamps are used on Seesaw via my Samsung mobile phone but below Ill show you how super easy it is to drag and drop them onto the students work from your tablet or computer. You can then resize the stamp and move it to your desired position and then lock it on the page. Mrs M says magical work! ** I have saved my digital stamps on my desktop (on the right hand side)... 10.01.2022 This week, our teachers/educators across the country will go into schools/daycare centres where they will interact with children of our brave and wonderful health staff who are highly exposed to COVID-19 They will not be given face masks or protective clothing. They probably won't even be given hand sanitisers They won't get free coffee half price pizza or special shopping hours. They will perform their jobs in ways they have never done before and they will ...do it with a smile on their faces so that the children in their care don't know how scared they are. Scared for those children. Scared for their own. Scared of being responsible for taking the virus home to their loved ones. Thank you to all Teachers, Educators, Teaching Assistants and support staff and anyone else heading into a school/daycare centres this week to keep it running so that our Doctors, Nurses and other essential workers and carers can take care of the sick and the vulnerable, our shops can stay open and deliveries can continue. I started to create stamps to help encourage my son Ryan who had learning difficulties at school. I wanted to create something that would engage him in learning and provide him with the encouragement that he needed. It started with a set of stamps as part of a reward system for the kids and for home learning, including a chec...klist stamp for prompting cues, and over a short period of time I found that it was making a positive impact on his learning.
