24.01.2022 "What's the point of being creative if there's no-one to tell us that we're @#&$% crazy." I’ve always had a chip on my shoulder when it comes to the path that’s been designed for artists and freelancers. I bitched and moaned like a resentful middle child as my creativity became bastardised to fit the taste of the highest bidder. I damn near swallowed the silver spoon in my mouth at times.... But as my nihilism grew, I began to realise that it wasn’t the clients ridiculous requests or the commercialisation of my artistic expression that affected me most. Ironically, it was that there wasn’t anyone I could complain to about my fear of doing it all on my own. Well guess what? You're not alone. I'm the empathetic slap in the face your inferiority complex hasn’t been searching for. Kim, Francis and myself have spent the last 5 years building Framework to support creators at the crucial stages of their career. If my story tickled your ego in any way, come hangout with our community at https://lnkd.in/gupBJ-6 We’re much more nurturing than I make out
