25.01.2022 Thank you all for your gifts, calls & messages since the arrival of our beautiful little Isla. I appreciate those of you that have asked when I’m returning to work (means I’m loved & you’re missing me) but for the moment these 3 little loves are keeping me busy enough. I will post when I have decided to return to work (at the minute it’s the last thing on my mind & I have no idea when I’ll be ready). 15.01.2022 Two little hands and two little feet. Now our family is complete. Yesterday we welcomed our beautiful baby GIRL, Isla Ann Lafranchi . Born 22/12/17 at 2.37pm. Weighing 6lb 2oz, 48cm long. (Exactly one month early) Dane & Jack are absolutely smitten with their new baby sister & so far she is doing everything beyond expectation. Merry Christmas everyone!!

15.01.2022 Speaking of weddings.... I’ve been a bit slack posting what I’ve been up to but here are some stunning ladies I had the privilege of helping get ready on Saturday. The lovely Ally has been a client of mine since I started working from home a few years ago & I was very excited to be able to help her feel amazing on her wedding day. It was a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere in Daylesford & even with the rain it looked to be the perfect day for a wedding. Thank you Ally for allowing me to be a part of your special day xx

13.01.2022 Guess who’s back? After an extended maternity leave (almost 3 years ) I’m excited to be working with the team @hairsocietyballarat from next Friday the 16th October & look forward to seeing some new & familiar faces in the salon.

12.01.2022 Leave update: you guys will notice I’ve been quiet & obviously not working. A few reasons behind this decision but the biggest reason being we have decided as a family I won’t be returning to permanent hairdressing for the foreseeable future. The biggest reason being this guy... JACK. It’s been a tough year for this little dude with emotions & behaviour which is out of his control a lot of the time. We’ve been working hard trying to help him & it is going to be a long journe...y to help him be his happy little self again. Which is why it is important for me to be at home focusing on our family instead of trying to fit in clients around Devin’s work hours which in itself is a big challenge. I’m sorry if it’s disappointing to you all but I’m positive you are all being well looked after elsewhere. Please know this decision hasn’t been easy for me. Having said all of that I will be taking wedding bookings for weekends as I can’t see myself fully stepping away from hairdressing all together. If you know of anyone getting married or you yourself are preparing to walk down the isle I would be more than happy to help you out if I’m not already booked. (I won’t take any bookings further out than 6 months from now) I will keep this page active to converse with you all regarding enquires etc. Thank you for your love & understanding, Shell xx

05.01.2022 MATERNITY LEAVE UPDATE! As most of you would be aware I was hoping to continue in salon services until early December. We have made the decision it is best for us as a family unit, for myself & our newest addition (pictured below) that I finish work sooner than that. I will be finishing in salon services on October 12th. I do have weddings booked every weekend from then until December so obviously still working but in a much less physically demanding capacity. Appointment...s are filling fast so if you are wanting to get yourself booked in before the 12th October please let me know ASAP to avoid disappointment. (I will not be adding extra hours.) If you would like to see a like minded stylist while I am on leave please contact me for some recommendations as I've got a few lovely ladies lined up to look after you all. See more

03.01.2022 It’s been a bit quiet on here but I assure you all I have been a busy little bee. I’ve been trying to figure out what I want to do work wise for this year. Obviously I’m still doing some weddings etc which is great & im enjoying being home with our beautiful family. (I am however very looking forward to school going back on Monday- these holidays are far too long ) My conclusion. I’m not 100% sure I’m still in love with hairdressing & the pressures it presents but I’m read...y to get out & do something for me again. I feel it’s unfair to my clients if I begin back at work like this & potentially make the decision to quit hairdressing later on. I know you would all respect my decision but there’s nothing worse than an on again off again hairdresser. I am however still loving the idea of making people feel fabulous & have taken the leap into the world of private INTIMO fittings & group bookings. INTIMO is a gorgeous brand of lingerie/clothing that I have worn & been a huge fan of for years. When I wear it I feel great & that’s what I want to bring to you all.
