20.01.2022 I have been taking advantage of the beautiful weather spending another day in the garden. Came inside to cook dinner feeling uninspired. With help from my thermy we had delicious smoked salmon pasta.
08.01.2022 Getting a bit more gardening in before the predicted rain next week. Fingers crossed it actually happens The reward for my work is afternoon tea with delicious vanilla cupcakes.
05.01.2022 This year we were able to gather in-person for the Yackandandah Anzac Day dawn service. It is a privilege to be able to commemorate our war dead and pay tribute to the sacrifices of those who have served and those who still serve in the armed forces. There was a fantastic turnout in Yack and nice not to be standing at the end of our drive. Lest We Forget.
03.01.2022 Today I had a go at one of my favourite foods. Apricot Danish, another easy bake and very tasty. Danishes can be made the cheats way with commercial puff pastry or use the thermy for your own puff pastry. It’s not hard to guess which one is best. Recipes used came from Cookidoo.
