23.01.2022 I chose peacock, lagoon and mink to make this card for the Color my Heart colour dare #409. I used both sides of the lagoon cardstock to get the variation in colour for the new Thanks thin cut shadow and sentiment. By mixing the jade green blend and the true blue bend tri blend markers I was able to simulate the peacock colour for the leaves and the green turquoise blend was perfect to match the lagoon colour for the flower! As I wanted more of the peacock to show in the background, I trimmed down the edges of the mink coloured new stitched lattice background thin cut die cut. Some now retired aqua coloured dots from my stash finished it off. #colormyheart #colordare #kaleidoscopheartscraps #ctmh #ctmhthincuts

18.01.2022 Here’s a double layout I just finished based on a challenge sketch by Bernadette, a fellow consultant. Using new papers Comfort & Joy and stickers from that pack as well as a few retired items. I’ve scrapbooked most of my newer Christmas photos already so I went to my photo box and dug out these pictures from 22 years ago. Wish I was that young and slim now !

16.01.2022 So little patterned paper, in fact only four papers from four different paper packs from my stash! The stencilled mandala from our Stencil Pack 1 is perfect to use in its entirety or only in parts. As well as using Black Soot distress oxide ink for the stencilling, I put on a little Asteroid Stickles glitter gel with a palette knife in some areas of the stencil to add a little sparkle. 14.01.2022 My gosh! I finished two layouts in less than 24 hours - that’s unheard of as I’m generally a very slow scrapbooker ! I love this page inspired by a fellow CTMH maker, Melissa Warren. It took a while stamping and die cutting the leaves and then working out the best way to cluster them. I’m so happy with the result though! 06.01.2022 I’ve had this idea in my head ever since I saw the Color my Heart colour dare 402 to use monochromatic blue. I sponged some white daisy with inks: glacier, lagoon, carolina, bluebird and sapphire, then die cut the diamonds with the coordinating dies from the Timber Cardmaking workshop G1210. They were mounted on black cardstock and I used Kraft cardstock for the embellishments. 04.01.2022 For the Color my Heart colour dare number 403 - browns plus 2 colours of your choice. I used the July stamp of the month S2007 For my Beautiful Friend for the lady with the flowers and the sentiment. Paper is from the Timber collection plus kraft and almond cardstocks. Dark red, dull green and earth brown tri blend markers. Plus a scrap of very old green patterned paper from my stash and a cut down piece of burlap ribbon. 03.01.2022 Another card for the Color My Heart colour dare (#410) to use red, white and blue. I used the new Olive Branches Background thin cut die (Z3679) to cut the card front from glacier cardstock then coloured the berries with red shimmer brush.
