21.01.2022 Last week we had Kardan Construction present a new Aboriginal flag to us. Miss Pearmine and the GECKOS team had organised this as one of their Year 6 leadership initiatives. Kardan Constructions is a registered Aboriginal building company located in Perth who work throughout the state on a range of projects. At present the cost of Pre-Kindy is $79.60 however if you are interested in sending your child for two days the cost will be $100 for the two days ($50 each day). The package contained the captured voice of a dingo, a jar of claws, dingo fur and lots more! Parents are able to go to the library where there will be complimentary tea and coffee facilities.

07.01.2022 Our Scholastic Book Fair is on next week in the Library. The Fair will run over 2 days, Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd September, 2020. Books and novelty items will be on sale during lunch breaks and after school so parents are able to come into the library and purchase books. A Book Fair brochure will be distributed to each student this week. The school receives commission from the Book Fair which is then used to purchase new books for our library. Students can enter the colouring competition during the Fair week, book prizes will be awarded to Lower, Middle and Upper class winners. Colouring sheets are available from the Library now.

02.01.2022 Our amazing Fathers Day stall will be held tomorrow, Wednesday 2 September from 9.00am. The children will be able to purchase gifts ranging from $2 to $10. We will also be holding a raffle costing $1 per ticket. Dont forget to send your child with money to purchase a great gift for Dad and a bag to pop the purchases into. 02.01.2022 During Talk for Writing lessons, the Pre-Primary children have been learning the story "The Little Engine that Could". They wrote descriptions of the trains in the story and then each child designed and made their own train cake! Yum!! If that wasnt enough, they also constructed trains out of boxes and wrote a description about the train they built.
