25.01.2022 It was a pleasure to be at the delivery of a new Hitachi Digger and Dump Trucks at the Ravenswood Gold Mine last week. This represents over 11 million in investment into our region with much , much more to come.
25.01.2022 Some of the councillors recently visited The Red River Resources mine near Charters Towers. Myself, Cr Graham Lohman, cr Julia Mathews and Cr Kate Hastie were shown around the site and taken underground. A big thank you to the manager Randy Mc Mahon and his staff for taking time out for us. Mining has been a mainstay of our local economy for 148 years.
